To make a private appointment with Mr Trehan if you live reasonably close to the consulting rooms listed below:

1. Ask your GP to send a referral letter to one of the hospitals listed below (please note, Mr Trehan’s main private clinic is at Longlands).
2. Telephone the hospital to which the referral will be sent to arrange an appointment (for Longlands, Mr Trehan’s main clinic, 01924 410610 or 01924 410006).

To make a private appointment with Mr Trehan if you are travelling a considerable distance:

Since Mr Trehan undertakes operations on patients from all over the world, he has special arrangements for those travelling a considerable distance (from other parts of the United Kingdom or other countries). In these cases, Mr Trehan arranges the appointment and operations such that they can all be undertaken in the same visit; so that there will be no need to travel back and forth. For example, many patients travelling considerable distances tend to come on Friday afternoon for an appointment and have the diagnostic operation on the Saturday morning.

Following the diagnostic laparoscopy, Mr Trehan undertakes a detailed consultation on Saturday afternoon/evening in order to discuss the findings of the laparoscopy and plan for any further action. You will be able to travel back home following this consultation on Saturday.

If a major operation is required, a detailed consultation is undertaken a few weeks/months later on a Friday, with the operation taking place on the Saturday. Patients are then usually able to leave on the Sunday/Monday, and have a detailed consultation prior to discharge. These arrangements minimise patient travelling time and have worked successfully for patients travelling from other parts of the UK and abroad.

1. Ask your GP to send a referral letter to the Longland's consulting room (see address below). Mr Trehan undertakes both consultation and operation on those patients travelling a considerable distance in Elland Hospital.

Note: If you are coming for endometriosis treatment and have severe endometriosis, Mr. Trehan would wish to undertake a diagnostic laparoscopy at your first visit. However, if you have mild endometriosis, and you are able to supply Mr. Trehan with recent laparoscopic pictures/detailed consultant report of laparoscopy, Mr. Trehan may be able to undertake excision surgery at the first visit if surgery is required and other measures have failed.

Spire Longlands Consulting Rooms are Mr. Trehan's main private consulting rooms, and are affiliated with Spire Elland Hospital, which is where Mr. Trehan operates on the majority of his private patients.
